Community & Tradition

A legacy of good food & shared moments.

The Hollywood Tavern is a historic roadside tavern and gathering place that has long brought people together at the crossroads of great food, good drinks, and easy conversation. Rooted in a sense of community and tradition, the tavern carries forward its legacy with a fresh, modern spirit—serving inventive craft cocktails, locally inspired scratch-made tavern fare, and a welcoming, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Whether stopping in for a casual bite, meeting friends for drinks, or settling in for a lively evening, The Hollywood Tavern blends its storied past with a vibrant present, creating a place where history, flavor, and connection come together.

History of
The Hollywood Tavern

In 1922 Andrew Larson established the Hollywood Corner Service Station on this site across the road from the famous Hollywood Dairy Farm, now home to Chateau Ste. Michelle winery. In 1947, shortly after the end of World War II, Mabel Nieman bought the property and converted the station into the original Hollywood Tavern. Mabel was a fixture in town, dispensing drink, advice and the occasional scolding to the farmers, loggers and mill workers that called the valley home. Transformed in 2013, our celebrated little roadhouse in the heart of Woodinville maintains its original character and honors its eclectic history.
