Music Larry Murante

It’s no surprise that Seattle-based Larry Murante has a reputation as one of the finest contemporary singer songwriters to emerge from the Northwest in recent years.

His beautifully woven stories about every day folks, set to song, combine compassionate, socially conscious lyrics and a joyful, energetic folk/rock style. Jackson Brown, Lyle Lovett, Hal Ketchum and Michael McDonald are all reflected in his music. Larry is known for his soaring, mellifluous, tenor, a strong rhythmic guitar style and an engaging stage presence.

Larry Murante tours nationally, performing at folk concerts, festivals, radio interviews and house concerts.

Point Of Entry is Larry Murante’s third and latest recording. It has garnered critical acclaim and radio airplay from all over the USA and parts of Europe. Produced by Hans York, Point Of Entry is a mix of folk-pop, acoustic, Americana and jazz. This Spring, 2009 release features guest musicians Hans York on acoustic guitar, Jon Hamar on upright bass, Myra Joy on cello, Dan Tyack on pedal steel, TJ Morris and Ben Smith on drums, David Lange on accordion, Alicia Healey on background vocals, and Greg Fulton on electric guitar and mandolin.
